Marrika Nerys
Marrika Nerys is a Faberian smuggler, she is the twin sister of Namari Nerys and the mother of Natasi Nerys. Her cousin is Kiara Nerys and Sorche Starka.

She is an attractive young woman with a slender and fairly muscular build. She has almond shaped brown eyes and long dark brown hair that was pulled back in a long braid. Marrika has a scar in the middle of her shoulder blades, given to her by her mother when she had tried to kill her. She has a minor sliver just under the line of her pants (when she doesn’t wear her flight suit) where she was cut in a smuggling job gone wrong. Marrika has thin scars on her back that she had received from her former master when she was a slave.
Biography[]
Marrika is a smuggler and the exiled future Regnant Empress of Faber, her mother had exiled her for reasons unknown. She hadn't shown her races hatred towards the Sith though she had shown the common hatred towards the Jedi. When she was younger, Marrika was a slave because of her races beauty which is considered second only to the Twi'leks but she had managed to escape by using her shrewdness and killed the slavers so that they won't make another young child a slave. She is the childhood friend of Maeve Blodeuwedd.
It is unknown how she came into the service of the Empire since other smugglers work for the Republic or are neutral but it's most likely do to the fact that Marrika, like all Faberians, respect strength and despise weakness and to her the Sith are strong while the Jedi were weak. And because of her mother's corrupted ways, Marrika didn't receive the proper training as the other kids her age got, so she is basically on a "learn as you go" training regimen thus her skill with her rifle had developed by fighting rather than formal instruction, becoming more a little more capable with every fight that she managed to land herself. And because of what little training she had with the Force, Marrika prefers her rifle and hand-to-hand combat if she needed to while she used what Force powers that she knew how to control to either distract her opponents or discharge them of attacking her...which normally doesn't work.
She has a pet Jha'dur named Nyx that is always seen at her side unless told otherwise by Marrika. When on Nogatan, Nyx stays either in her chambers or on her XS stock light freighter, the Another Idiot’s Array.

It was later revealed that the real reason why Marrika had actually joined the Sith, was not to get revenge on her mother but mostly to protect her five year old daughter, Natasi Nerys from her mother and her enemies. Marrika has never mentioned Natasi’s father, she doesn't like to talk about him and won't say what had become of him.
Armor and equipment[]
Marrika as a Knight Guardian
Her clothing consisted of a carapace-like armor that hugged her skin and covered every bit of it, including her hands, painted in dark ebony, with white stripes down the front side, a zipper running all the way up to secure herself, her thick hardened boots. The knuckle plate of the armor featured a retractable vibroblade used for close quarter combat and covert encounters. She wielded a carbine blaster rifle. When not using her carbine blaster rife, she kept the weapon slung across her back. She carried a pair of personalized blaster pistols which she holstered on her armor's thigh plates. The rifle was battered since it had seen a lot of fights since coming into her ownership and that Marrika has a tendency of using it as a club whenever she ran out of ammo. She has a silver circular, flute-like instrument that has decorated with a diamond pattern, which she plays a soft and soothing melody which is actually a lullaby sung by her people and most likely it was sang to her before her mother became corrupted.

When she became a Kight Guardian, Marrika wore the pure black armor and weilded a force pike.
Personality and traits[]
Marrika is incredibly flippant, mouthing off to even the most powerful of Sith, and she generally enjoys rubbing people the wrong way. She does mature as time goes by, but never really loses her attitude. Marrika is seemingly unflappable, not showing fear whether she's being attacked by Bounty Hunters or being attacked by Republic Troopers. She rarely shows any seriousness. She can be serious when the situation calls for it, but she still maintains a fairly laid-back demeanor during such situations and is never without a witty taunt or comeback. Marrika can seem at times to be uncaring or even callous, but actually has a very strong sense of justice and prefers to fight fairly. She can be counted on to do the right thing, even if she makes cynical quips about it the entire time. Marrika values family and friends very highly. She also has a fiery, short temper. She is generally regarded as a naturally bright and shrewd woman, she is also mistrusting of other force-sensitives because of what had happened during the Great Sith War. She, like all Faberians, considers the only honorable battles to be those that are fought one-on-one. Even the threat of death is not a reason to ignore this fact, as she believes that the winner is only to be determined when the other dies. Like all Faberians, Marrika only attacks only when provoked or attacked first.
