Kuat was a planet located in the Core Worlds, known across the galaxy for the Kuat Drive Yards, shipbuilders that constructed vessels for the Galactic Republic, the Galactic Empire, and the Triumvirate.

Development[]
Although Fondor was laid to waste in 91 ABY, the full effect was not felt until shortly after the dissolution of Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire in 138 ABY. Although normally, the Kuati would be more than happy to pick up the pace...the amount of orders coming in daily required a more...rash action. Kuat began to further industrialize on the surface, building higher and higher as it stripped away an valuable resources from the planet's surface. In essence, by 168 ABY, the planet had remade itself as the second Coruscant. It wasn't quite the economic powerhouse that Coruscant itself was, but it was a close second.
